How to mine Nexus with your CPU on Linux?

Install required packages:

Ubuntu/Debian based: sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install -y screen git libcurl4-openssl-dev libssl-dev make build-essential libboost-all-dev libdb++-dev libgmp-dev
Centos: yum update && yum install -y screen git libcurl4-openssl-dev libssl-dev make gcc gcc-c++ make openssl-devel libdb++-dev libgmp-dev boost boost-devel libdb++-dev

Clone the repository from github:

git clone

MINING WITH STATS: Clone THIS repository from github:

git clone

Compile the code:

cd PrimePoolMiner           / cd PrimePoolMinerWithCurlStats
make -j8 -f makefile.unix

Run your miner

./nexus_cpuminer 9549 [yourWalletAddress] [threads]
./ 9549 xc134dafsdf23423edfsghgfj6i567u8356tdxxzv23 5*

Mining with stats:

./ 9549 xc134dafsdf23423edfsghgfj6i567u8356tdxxzv23 MINERNAME 5*

(*) make sure you don’t use all available threads, you get better results using 75-80% of available threads

How to run in the background?

screen ./ 9549 [yourpayoutaddress] [threads]
To make sure process runs in the background you need to detach your screen, to do it you need to
HOLD CTRL, while holding: click A, click D

Returning to screen to check your process:

screen -r
